Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the fakts invoicing platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
fakts is a tool for creating invoices and related documents, including Peppol/UBL e-invoices. The Service helps you prepare documents but is not an accounting, tax, or legal advisor.
2. Account and eligibility
The Service is intended for business use. You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity carried out under it.
3. Your responsibilities
- Ensure the data you enter into invoices and documents is accurate and complete.
- Comply with applicable law, including VAT and accounting requirements.
- File your own tax returns and make payments. The Service does not do this for you.
4. Availability
The Service is provided “as is”. We aim for continuous operation but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. This is an early release and features may change.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits arising from your use of the Service. You remain responsible for meeting your own accounting and tax obligations.
6. Data
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend access if these terms are breached.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Questions: info@fakts.lv.
